WWE and New Orleans reportedly hold the Caesars Superdome for WrestleMania 45 in spring 2029.
World Wrestling Entertainment is reportedly eyeing a return to Louisiana for one of its flagship spectacles. Industry reports indicate that city officials and the sports entertainment giant have secured a venue hold for late this decade.
The scheduled destination for the WrestleMania 45 weekend is the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. This major development arrives just as the promotion prepares to host another premium live event in the same southern hub.
The scheduling coordination follows extensive talks between local tourism authorities and corporate leadership, according to information published by bleache.
History of WrestleMania in New Orleans
New Orleans has a rich history with the sports entertainment powerhouse, having previously hosted two landmark editions of the industry's biggest annual showcase. Both historical gatherings took place at the prominent local stadium.
The city famously welcomed fans from around the globe for WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and later returned for WrestleMania 34 in 2018. Securing a potential 2029 date would cement the destination as a staple for the promotion.
Reshaping the Premium Live Event Schedule
The path to the 2029 booking involved several adjustments to the promotion's long-term calendar. Initially, an earlier iteration of the mega-event was slated for Louisiana before corporate planners shifted locations.
Local sports leadership noted that ongoing discussions with TKO Group Holdings successfully preserved a multi-event partnership. This collaboration includes upcoming combat sports showcases and high-profile wrestling cards.
Global Expansion and Future Venues
While the 2029 landscape takes shape, the promotion's immediate international schedule features unprecedented milestones. The upcoming WrestleMania 43 in April 2027 will break tradition by taking place in Saudi Arabia.
This marks the first time the historic brand will stage its flagship extravaganza outside of the United States or Canada. Meanwhile, official details regarding the host city for WrestleMania 44 in 2028 remain unannounced.
