Sony announces the Prism Collection, bringing see-through accessories back to PlayStation hardware in early 2027.
Sony has officially announced a brand new collection of translucent DualSense controllers and matching PS5 console covers, bringing transparent designs back to modern PlayStation hardware after years of fan anticipation.
Revealed on October 28, the upcoming hardware lineup is designed to celebrate the iconic see-through tech trends of the late 1990s while updating the aesthetic for the current console generation, according to information published by dexerto.
The Japanese gaming giant has confirmed official pricing, release schedules, and pre-order details for the new accessories, giving players plenty of time to plan their custom console setups.
Translucent DualSense Controllers in Three Colors
The newly unveiled Prism Collection introduces three distinct transparent color options for players to choose from, including Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray.
Each wireless controller features a glossy translucent shell that offers a direct glimpse into the internal electronic components, complemented by a sleek metallic finish located on the middle section.
