Defending champion Sesi Bauru reaches the São Paulo Women Volleyball Championship finals after a dominant semifinal victory.
The Sesi Bauru women volleyball team secured a spot in the 2026 Campeonato Paulista Feminino de Vôlei finals by defeating Cora São Caetano in straight sets on Tuesday, October 6, at the Arena Paulo Skaf in Bauru, according to information published by WEBVOLEI.
Coached by Spencer Lee, the defending state champions controlled the match from the beginning with partial scores of 25-18, 25-18, and 25-20, building upon their previous 3 sets to 1 victory away from home in the opening leg of the semifinals.
With this latest triumph, Bauru maintained its flawless run, reaching eight wins in eight matches and standing as the only undefeated team in the competition, setting up a decisive title clash against Osasco.
Sesi Bauru and Osasco to Battle for the State Title
The opponent in the final series will be Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde, a team led by coach Luizomar de Moura that advanced after overcoming Pinheiros in a hard-fought five-set match at the Ginásio José Liberatti earlier in the day.
Bauru finished the regular phase with the best overall campaign in the tournament, earning the strategic advantage of hosting the second and potentially decisive match of the championship series on home court in Bauru.
