Odell Beckham Jr. joins the Minnesota Vikings practice squad, impacting fantasy outlooks alongside Justin Jefferson.

Veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. signed with the Minnesota Vikings practice squad on Wednesday, adding a notable offensive weapon to an already talented roster in Minneapolis.

The move brings the experienced pass catcher into a crowded wide receiver room, though he currently remains off the active 53-man roster, according to information published by bleache.

Fantasy football managers are evaluating what this roster addition means for the team moving forward, especially given the presence of established star players on the offensive depth chart.

Odell Beckham Jr. Minnesota Vikings Contract Details

The Minnesota Vikings added depth to their wide receiver corps by signing Odell Beckham Jr. to the practice squad on Wednesday, giving the franchise another veteran option for the season.

Beckham begins his tenure on the practice squad and is not guaranteed an immediate elevation to the active 53-man roster, meaning his availability for upcoming games remains uncertain.

Wide Receiver Depth Chart Impact

If Odell Beckham Jr. eventually earns a promotion to the main roster, he will enter a competitive room featuring Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, Jauan Jennings, and 2025 third-round draft pick Tai Felton.

With multiple capable wideouts already ahead of him on the depth chart, securing consistent playing time will present a significant challenge for the veteran receiver.

Fantasy Football Outlook For OBJ

Given his current practice squad status and uncertain path to active game-day elevation, fantasy football analysts advise against relying on Odell Beckham Jr. for any production right now.

Managers should monitor how the Minnesota Vikings manage their roster elevations in the coming weeks before making any major decisions regarding the newly signed wide receiver.
