Nabil Anane returns to kickboxing at ONE SAMURAI 4 in Tokyo, aiming to bounce back against Yuki Yoza.
Former Muay Thai king Nabil Anane is facing a crucial moment in his career as he prepares to meet Yuki Yoza in a bantamweight kickboxing bout at ONE SAMURAI 4, according to information published by bjpenn.
The high-stakes event takes place on Saturday, October 17, at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, marking the 22-year-old athlete's first kickboxing appearance in nearly a full year.
Anane is determined to avoid a third consecutive defeat after dropping his last two matches, hoping to use this upcoming fight to re-establish his dominance and enter the official promotion rankings.
Nabil Anane looks to break losing streak
The 6-foot-4 athlete enters the ring with a massive reach advantage, expecting his Japanese opponent to spend the entire night applying aggressive pressure and trying to close the distance.
Rather than completely rebuilding his fighting style following recent setbacks, Anane focused on sharpening critical details to ensure past mistakes do not resurface during the bout.
He remains confident in his strategy, noting that his opponent will have to run to catch him while he secures the victory to prevent a damaging third straight defeat.
Yuki Yoza serves as major test in bantamweight division
Standing across the ring is Yuki Yoza, a former World Title challenger recognized for his overwhelming physical strength, relentless forward pressure, and dangerous kicking arsenal.
Because Yoza has already challenged for ONE World Title gold, a victory against him serves as an ideal measuring stick for the Algerian-Thai star in the bantamweight division.
A successful performance in Tokyo could finally propel Anane into the competitive kickboxing rankings and set up a much-anticipated path toward a championship opportunity.
Ready for the next title opportunity in ONE Championship
Throughout his career with ONE Championship, Anane has consistently accepted every challenge offered by the promotion without hesitation.
He is fully prepared to take on whatever opponent management proposes next, but his ultimate target remains securing a shot at the coveted world championship title.
By maintaining his readiness and staying true to his aggressive approach, Anane hopes to capitalize on every opportunity that comes his way following this pivotal weekend.
