New champions claim victory on Friday night following outside interference from Jade Cargill.
On Friday's edition of SmackDown, professional wrestlers Michin and B-Fab captured the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship by defeating Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley in a high-stakes match.
The decisive moment arrived when Michin executed the Styles Clash on Paxley, securing the pinfall after Jade Cargill, positioned at ringside, punched Paxley while the referee was distracted, according to information published by bleache.
This landmark victory marks the first time that both Michin and B-Fab have secured championship gold within the sports entertainment organization since joining their current rosters in 2022.
The Rise of Michin and B-Fab in WWE
The newly crowned champions have enjoyed a notable ascent through the division throughout 2026. In March, they launched an attack on Rhea Ripley and subsequently aligned themselves with Jade Cargill, remaining by her side until culminating their partnership with a championship title win.
Short-Lived Title Reign for Bliss and Paxley
The defeat brings a sudden end to the championship reign of Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley, which lasted only two weeks. The duo previously captured the titles by defeating Fatal Influence, a team consisting of Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
How the Championship Match Was Decided
The title opportunity for Bliss and Paxley originally materialized after Cargill's group attacked Charlotte Flair backstage, leading to Bliss stepping in as a replacement partner on the team before ultimately dropping the championships on SmackDown.
Future Outlook for the Tag Team Division
As Michin and B-Fab embark on their inaugural championship reign, the duo will undoubtedly face numerous challengers from across the roster. However, having Jade Cargill consistently positioned in their corner provides a significant strategic advantage moving forward.
