Inside the Madison Square Garden Championship Ring Design
The Knicks championship rings feature a unique shape modeled after the iconic Madison Square Garden arena. The top displays the team logo, while the interior includes a detailed replica of the court and the venue's signature ceiling.
Players celebrated the momentous occasion in style, with star guard Josh Hart debuting an eye-catching design in his braids for ring night. The jewelry serves as a permanent reminder of the city's first title in 53 years, captured after an incredible postseason run.
Path to the 2026 NBA Championship and Finals Victory
The journey to the championship required dominant performances through the Eastern Conference playoffs. New York defeated the Atlanta Hawks in the first round before sweeping both the Philadelphia 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In the NBA Finals, the Knicks faced Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. The high-stakes series delivered remarkable moments, ultimately ending in five games as New York secured the championship trophy.
Tough Competition Ahead in the Eastern Conference
Defending the title will prove difficult as rival teams made major offseason moves to bolster their rosters. The Philadelphia 76ers added star power with LeBron James and Jaylen Brown teaming up with Joel Embiid and Tyres Maxey.
