During a dominant run in Turkey, the Super Eagles star has managed to score in 10 consecutive league matches, setting a historic milestone for the club. His consistent performances have firmly established him as one of the standout players in the division this season.

Mustafa Er praises Nigerian striker
Bursaspor coach Mustafa Er has expressed deep admiration for the remarkable goalscoring run achieved by the Nigerian forward. The manager noted that the player is very difficult to break down on the pitch, highlighting his tremendous value to the squad.
The 30-year-old striker joined the Turkish side in July 2026 after leaving Scottish champions Celtic. His arrival followed a successful period in Scotland where he helped the club secure domestic honours during the 2025/26 campaign.
Record-breaking streak in Turkish football

Maintaining such a run is exceptionally difficult in modern football because opposing teams have ample opportunities to study player movements. Despite this defensive preparation, the experienced goalscorer continues to deliver decisive attacking contributions.
Super Eagles and future objectives
Beyond his club success in Turkey, the talented attacker has maintained strong involvement with the Nigeria national team. He notably scored against Russia during the international fixtures held in October.
