Why Darius Wabbington Chose Indiana
Wabbington explained his decision by highlighting the clear developmental path laid out by the coaching staff. Indiana Recruiting Class and Roster Outlook
With this major addition, Wabbington becomes the third commitment for Indiana in the class of 2027, joining 4-star point guard Chase Branham and German prospect Felix Keihlneker.
The program has seen a strong upward trend in talent acquisition under head coach Darian DeVries, who previously secured the No. 8-ranked recruiting class and added impact transfers like former Alabama forward Aiden Sherrell.
Reviving the Hoosiers Basketball Program
The commitment marks a significant step as Indiana looks to return to its historical powerhouse status in college basketball following a challenging transition period.
